The Artero Alp 16 Chunkers are manufactured from high quality Japanese steel 440C and feature a razor edge concave blade with curved teeth on the other blade. 

Chunkers are a scissor which should be used for cutting and defining and should not be confusd with thinners which are used to blend, transition and reduce volume. 

Chunkers can remove up to 60% of hair whilst thinners remove less than 30%.
