Wheatley Wares presently ships with GLS, FedEx, Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, Canpar. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the package size, weight and destination. We use the Canada Post shipping tables to calculate shipping costs for all carriers. Shipping to rural route addresses and P.O. Boxes with no street numbers may be limited to Canada Post, depending on location. Most of the products on our site qualify for free shipping. Your order will be sent by our preferred carrier with the standard level of service.
Orders with Free Shipping
Orders with Free shipping are sent with the least costly method to your postal code. If you prefer a different level of service, you must pay the cost difference. To qualify for free shipping, your order must total $250 or above after discounts and before taxes. Items that are excluded from free shipping will be noted in the product description
Canadian winters can be cold. Please keep this in mind when ordering liquids. It is possible, especially if you are located a long distance from us, that liquid products in your order (eg. shampoo) may arrive partially or completely frozen. Because of this, we are not able to offer any warranty if this happens. Normally this does not affect the performance of the product once it has been thawed out but there may be some separation that will require stirring to recombine and even then, it may not look the same as it normally would.
Insurance
Shipping Insurance is automatically included for all orders, for the total value of the items purchased, not just the $100 basic coverage provided by most carriers.
Website Orders for Pick Up
Place your order on the website and select Store Pick-up. Allow us 24 hours to pull the product and get it ready for pick up. You will receive an email once your order is ready for pick up.
Lost or Stolen Orders
Wheatley Wares is not liable for orders stolen or lost after delivery. If this happens, we will work with the shipping company to verify the order was delivered to the correct location. If it turns out that your order was delivered to the correct address (as per the shipping information on your order), and was stolen or lost after delivery, Wheatley Wares is not liable.
Bulk Shipping Charges
Bulk items are oversized or overweight for shipping by normal methods so they will incur additional charges for shipping, all orders will be reviewed on an individual basis. This is a cost determined by the shipping companies for oversized/overweight parcels. Some examples are grooming arms, tables, and blow dryers. Also, shipments that are unusually large, dense or that require special handling due to size. We strive to get the best pricing we can to ship out each customer's order.
