Train your dog to love being brushed with the Miraculous Wood Pin Brush. Gentle on the hair and soothing on the skin, the Wood Pin brush is very forgiving in the hands of an inexperienced brusher. If you have a dense or curly coat, consider the longer and stronger pins in the Ice Slip Brush to work through the coat.

Use the Crown Royale Detangling Spray to soften the tangles and mats and condition the coat so it is less likely to break. You should never brush a dry coat because of the increased likelihood that the hair will break under the strain of the brush.

Eliminate all the mats and tangles with the Big G "Coral" - Long Pin Dense Slicker Brush. Use the Crown Royale Detangling Spray to soften the tangles and mats and pull the hairs apart with the long pins on the Big G. Part the hair and brush from the root out, on the really difficult mats.

Check your work with an Artero Combination Comb. If it glides through, you did an awesome job. If the comb gets stuck, go back with the Big G and Detangling Spray and keep working on it.
