Step 2: The Eye Envy Tear Stain Remover Powder for Dogs and Cats is the second step in the tear stain removal process.
The application powder is strongly recommended to use as an enhancer within our tear stain removal system. The application powder actually helps repels tears to keep the area dry and to prevent the regrowth of tear stain causing bacteria. Highly recommended for all breed, especially whites and light colored coats.
Eye Envy application powder does not contain bleach, cornstarch, or steroids. The Eye Envy Powder is NOT a cover-up.
When initially removing stains, it is strongly recommended to use BOTH Eye Envy Solution and powder. Together, you will receive the maximum results.
Goldenseal – mimics the properties of a natural antibiotic to help remove the bacteria causing tear staining.
Echinacea – like Goldenseal, Echinacea is also an anti-inflammatory and acts as a natural antibiotic, helping clear up any bacterial infections.
Eyebright – used since the Middle Ages to treat eye issues, including infected, inflamed and irritated eyes. This herb has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and astringent properties. Eyebright contains the substance Aucubin, which stimulates the production of proteins that are involved in the healing processes.
Boric Crystals – is a natural cleanser and antibacterial that is used in well-established eye treatments to help relieve irritation and discomfort. In powder form it is also a pharmaceutical grade drying agent, which keeps the affected area dry.

"It works OK, but I still prefer Eye and Wound powder (if you can get it? The eye envy is not as fine so it doesn't pack into the fur as easily without clumping. But, in a pinch, it will do the job."

"This powder and the liquid works for tear stains. I have three Maltese and I use this in all three. My oldest started getting stains when she started to age, maybe age 10. Someone mentioned this product and I figured I would give it a try. I was surprised that it actually worked. You just have to be consistent. I found that using the liquid, then dry the area with a tissue and apply the powder. Do that every day until the stains go away. Then every other day. Top two pictures were before eye envy, the third picture is about a month after."
